- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and password.
- Profile Information: Drivers may be asked to provide a profile picture. To do this, we request access to your device's Camera and Photo Library.
- Delivery Information: When placing orders, you provide delivery addresses, special instructions, and location landmarks.
- Payment Information: When you make purchases, we collect necessary payment information. Payments are securely processed through third-party payment gateways (e.g., Paynow, EcoCash). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
b. Information Collected Automatically
- Location Data: To provide location-based services such as delivery tracking, restaurant distance calculation, and GPS capture for your address, we request access to your device's location data. You can enable or disable location tracking at any time through your device settings.
- Device Information: We may collect device-specific information such as your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage Data: We automatically collect diagnostic data and crash reports to improve the performance and reliability of the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:
- To provide and maintain the App, including processing food orders and facilitating deliveries.
- To manage your account and communicate with you regarding your orders, updates, and support inquiries.
- To process payments securely.
- To send you push notifications relating to your order status (e.g., restaurant accepted order, driver dispatched), promotions, and updates (subject to your notification preferences).
- To monitor usage, detect technical errors, and improve the App's functionality.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following scenarios:
- Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our App. This includes cloud hosting providers (e.g., Supabase) and payment processors (e.g., Paynow).
- Restaurants and Drivers: We share necessary details (name, delivery address, phone number) with the restaurant fulfilling your order and the driver assigned to deliver it, strictly for the purpose of completing your order.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
4. Data Security
The security of your data is important to us. We implement industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
