Welcome to Zvipfuwo, a Livestock Management System designed to help farmers organize and track their livestock records. We are committed to protecting your personal information and agricultural records.

By using Zvipfuwo, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you directly provide when setting up and using the app:

When creating your account, we collect your email address, full name, password, and farm role (Farmer or Administrator) to set up your profile.

We store livestock profiles, health logs, weight/growth statistics, breeding/pregnancy records, feed inventories, transactions, and farm inspection details that you log in the app.

We request Camera permissions to scan ear tag barcodes/QR codes or take animal pictures, and Local Notifications to send task alarms.

3. Data Isolation & Security

Your livestock data is highly sensitive. We apply the highest security standards:

PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS)

Zvipfuwo uses PostgreSQL RLS on all tables. This ensures your records are locked to your user account, preventing any other user from accessing or reading your farm data.

Furthermore, all network requests between the app and database are encrypted using SSL/HTTPS protocols, and passwords are salted and hashed cryptographically.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not sell or lease your personal data. We utilize trusted infrastructure to operate:

Supabase: For database hosting, secure authentication, and file storage.
Expo: For build diagnostics and crash analytics.

5. Data Rights & Erasure

You have full ownership of your data. You may:

Access and edit all your livestock and account data.
Request full deletion of your account. Deleting your account triggers database cascades, permanently removing all of your records.
